Comes in a CD sized papersleeve album replica (gatefold), with Obi-strip and insert of notes mostly in Japanese (also includes English lyrics).

Remastered November 2002.

"Released in UK February 1971 on Vertigo Records Catalogue number 6360 028. Re-released as Bronze 6357 207. Released in the USA later 1971 on Mercury Records Catalogue number SR 61319. First released as re-mastered CD by Castle in 1995 as ESMCD 317.

The US and Canadian versions not only differed in album title, but also the outer cover art and track listing. Bird Of Pray was dropped for the US version of Salisbury as this track had already been included on the US release of the bands debut album. It was replaced with Simon The Bullet Freak a track that was recorded during the Salisbury sessions and later appeared as a B-side in the UK."
